“We truly understand empowerment and how it plays a vital role in enabling our clients through sacredness, respect, empathy and knowledge-based training to succeed in challenging and changing environments.”
~ On Our Philosophy, Ruth Murdock & Greg Murdock
Our Guiding Principals
Empowerment
We believe that many Indigenous people need to be empowered in order to develop their gifts, self confidence and inner wellness in carrying on healthy relationships within their families, communities and other nations. We will create an awareness of Indigenous history and cultural issues as well as dispel negatives myths and stereotypes.
Respect
Respect is the cornerstone of the Seven Grandfathers and it is the foundation upon which we will work with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members to build respect and positive relationships. We are cognizant of the time and effort it takes to influence change from years of being exposed to unhealthy attitudes. We feel this process is essential for Indigenous people to enter the work force with confidence, self-esteem and awareness of their rich history.
Sharing
We integrate cultural teaching and traditional healing into our sessions because we believe that these are integral components of our work. We combine these practices with modern methodologies to provide the tools for a complete professional and personal development experience. We share our training with a wide audience, including Indigenous communities, government agencies, organizations large and small, including the corporate sector.
